Wilfred Ndidi was excellent for Leicester City as they held Man United to a 2-2 draw at the King Power Stadium, Sports247 reports.
United took the lead when Marcus Rashford scored in the 23rd minute of the tie to mark his 50th English Premier League goal.
Harvey Barnes equalised for the hosts eight minutes later with a left-footed strike from outside the area.
Ndidi was involved in the build-up to the goal as his pressure on Bruno Fernandes made the midfielder lose possession close to his side’s 18-yard box which results in Leicester’s goal.
Fernandes restored United’s lead with a decent strike in the 79th minute but Leicester found an equaliser 5 minutes from the 90th.
Jamie Vardy’s effort took a deflection off United defender Axel Tuanzebe to hit the back of the net.
Although he was booked late in the game, Ndidi was superb throughout. It was a typical performance from the Nigerian international who constantly closed down the opposition, contesting for every ball.
He made 7 tackles, 3 interceptions, won 8 duels, and had a pass completion rate of 83.7%. Ndidi continues to be invaluable for the Foxes as they aim to secure a top 4 finish this season.
