EPL: Iwobi’s Everton Vs Leicester, ‘Key Game’ For Ndidi, Iheanacho Foxes Survival

Alex Iwobi’s Everton will host strugglers, Leicester City on Saturday in the English Premier League in a vital game for Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho’s Foxes relegation survival.

Leicester City who are led by Brendan Rodgers are currently placed 18th on the log with 11 points after 13 games will come up against 12th placed Everton who are on 14 points having played 13 games at the Goodison Park as they look to snap off the relegation zone.

Ndidi who recently came back from injury will be hoping to reclaim his starting berth against Everton after being an unused substitute in the narrow loss to Man City as Iheanacho’s introduction in the 71st minute not enough to spark a comeback.

Iwobi on the other hand as been a shocking revelation, producing match winner performances since the beginning of the season accumulating five assists and a goal so far bar injury will be in the starting XI as his team take on his countrymen.

The Blues have scored 11 goals and conceded 13 while the Foxes have netted 21 but shipped 25 so far. Lampard’s side have posted consecutive clean sheets twice so far with the goalless draw against Liverpool coming before a 1-0 win over West Ham United and now the 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace being followed up by the 0-0 draw at Fulham.

City take on Everton at Goodison Park in a 5:30pm kick-off on Saturday evening.
