Enyimba of Aba rock solid defender, Ifeayin Anaemena has called on his teammates to focus on the job at hand and wrapped up the playoff ticket as soon as possible.
The former Giwa FC defender who got a brace in the People’s Elephant 3-1 win over Rangers last Sunday also warned his side that picking a playoff ticket in the NPFL Group B won’t be an easy task , because with Lobi Stars , Rivers United and Katsina United still in the mix, despite of not being in the top three teams on the log at the moment.
“The top-three slot is not in the bag yet. We know we have to work harder because it remains five matches to go and every team is playing good in this our group so you have to try to keep up your game and make sure you dominate in every match you play so we’re still working hard to meet up with the slot,”
Enyimba surrendered their eleven matches unbeaten run at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt when they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Rivers United on Wednesday.
