The former Akwa United of Uyo and Enyimba of Aba shot-stopper, who also kept goal for two clubs in Israel, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv, stressed that he wants to stay in France because of his family.
Not only does he wants to remain he in France, Enyeama says he is particular about where he will ply his trade next, as he does not want to be far away from his wife and kids, who are in Lille.
Enyeama is currently without a club after leaving Lille by mutual consent in August 2018, but says he has no intention of hanging his gloves yet.
At 36, Enyeama insists he is still active and always training, in order to stay fit, as he awaits a new deal that would help him end his career on a high; but admits his options are restricted by his family ties.
Enyeama disclosed: “I don’t want to quit football for now. I still want to continue my career but, at my age, it’s a little bit difficult.
“I train everyday at home. I try to maintain my form. I’ve got some contacts and interest in France, from Israel and Turkey.
“I don’t feel like working far away from my family. My family is in Lille. We have been living there since 2011 and we like the place.”
