Enugu Rangers Signs Ukegbulam, Club’s U19 Wonderboy

Rangers International FC, the reigning champions of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL), are set to integrate another promising young player into their first team.

Ukegbunam Kosisochukwu Prince, a talented forward from the club’s U-19 youth team, has recently signed his first professional contract.

The lanky youngster will now compete for a starting spot in coach Fidelis Ilechukwu’s squad as they aim to regain their attacking prowess.

“This is a dream come true,” said an elated Kosisochukwu after signing his contract.

“Playing for Rangers has always been my goal since my youth career began. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase my talent to the world. I will strive to build upon what I achieved with the youth team and contribute significantly to the team’s success this season.”

Kosisochukwu will face stiff competition for playing time, with established forwards like Godwin Obaje, Frank Uwumiro, Michael Uchebo, Amobi Ezeaku, Kingsley Maduforo, and Chiedozie Okorie already impressing in the team.

However, given his impressive performances for the youth team, Kosisochukwu is expected to make a quick impact on the first team.
