The management of Seven times Champions of Nigerian Professional Football League, Rangers International paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Anambra State Football Association Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi in his office, the FA Secretariat Complex at Udoka Estate Awka.
The team led by Administrative Secretary Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua congratulated the General on claiming his mandate and praised him for his huge accomplishment within the short time he took over as the FA Chairman.
*”For me, I am personally happy to see you in this seat. Between the last time I was here in July for our game against Rivers United and today that I am here, I have seen positive changes within the complex. All indicating that someone that knows his capacity is in charge. On behalf of the entire Rangers family, I congratulate you and wish you well. Last season we played all our games in Anambra state; from Nnewi to Awka the state capital. We enjoyed massive support and hopefully if we will come back, I am more certain that we will enjoy massive support from your administration. We are here as well to inform you of our intention of using the facility to intensify our preparation for the upcoming season. It is part of our Preseason tour. We will be banking on the FA’s Support for this”*
The Capacity Chairman while thanking the Rangers Hierarchy for the visit assured them of the FA’s support .

Other members of Rangers management that came for the courtesy call include, the Team Psychologist, Emeka Onaga, Emeka Ike, Protocol Official and Nobert Okoli Media Officer. The SSA to Anambra FA Chairman, Ifeanyichukwu Ojukwu and Stadium manager Chika Akachukwu were present as well.
