With the increasing numbers of world stars in European football and the exploits that we have witnessed in recent times, it’s no surprise that grassroots players are looking up to them as they also dream to achieve such milestone and Emmanuel Joseph isn’t an exception.

The Dele Alampasu Football Academy youngster who can either play as a left winger and also play as a center forward is modelling his game after Japanese star Kaoru Mitoma and Georgia’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who has already formed a deadly partnership with Emmanuel’s country man in Victor Osimhen at Napoli.
Asked why he picked both players in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng, Emmanuel admitted that he cherished thier playing style and pattern.
“I love thier playing style and I try as much as possible to copy them because I feel the way they play, it’s similar to the way I play so since they are doing it better than me, I just have to learn from them”.
“Their positioning, the way they think and psychological abilities is so massive, I look at their application of tactics to better my game and Dele Alampasu Football Academy which is the only platform that I have to express myself is helping me better develop in my all-round game”, he added.
On combining education and football together, “I have finished my secondary school last year and looking for admission into the university right now that will also give me time to play football”.
“I don’t want to leave football and I also don’t want to lack behind in my education and I have been able to do that quite well, all I do now is training because jamb is still next year”.
“I really love to be here and it’s been a good ride, I started my career here and I want to go on to the very end and achieve success from here”.
