Nigerian attacker Emmanuel Dennis is on the verge of departing Nottingham Forest to join a club in the Turkish Super Lig. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the latest development, stating that Dennis only needs to make a final decision on the transfer.
“Understand Emmanuel Dennis has now decided to play in Turkey — he’s close to leaving Nottingham Forest,” Romano tweeted. “Told Adana Demirspor and Istanbul Başakşehir presented loan bids with 100% salary covered, Dennis will make the final decision soon.”
Despite reported interest from CSKA Moscow in Russia, Dennis seems inclined towards a move to Turkey. If the transfer materializes, it would mark his third consecutive summer move.
Emmanuel Dennis joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2022 following Watford’s relegation from the Premier League. Forest acquired him for £20 million, hoping he could replicate his impressive numbers from his time at Watford, where he recorded 10 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League appearances during the 2021/22 season.

However, Dennis struggled to secure regular playing time at Forest. Last season, he made just six league starts and accumulated a total of 715 Premier League minutes.
Now, it appears that a new opportunity in the Turkish Super Lig awaits him, pending his final decision.
As Emmanuel Dennis prepares for a potential move, Nottingham Forest and Turkish football fans eagerly await the outcome, with expectations that the talented Nigerian attacker may find a more suitable environment to showcase his skills and make an impact on the pitch.
