Founder and Chairman of Emiloju FC, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, has praised the organizers of the Showtime Youth Cup for what he described as a truly different and outstanding football experience, following his team’s historic victory in the maiden edition of the tournament.

Speaking after Emiloju FC lifted the trophy and received a total of ₦14 million in prize money—including both team and individual awards—he noted that while there are many competitions across the country, Showtime Youth Cup stands out for its professionalism, instant rewards, and overall organization.
“There are a lot of competitions out there, but this one is different. Winning is great, but winning and receiving your prize money immediately is something I must commend,” he said.
The chairman also took the opportunity to shower praise on his players, emphasizing their focus and commitment throughout the tournament:
“I also want to commend my players for their dedication, discipline, and for staying focused from start to finish. Their hard work brought this success, and I’m truly proud of them.”
The final, played at the prestigious Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, saw Emiloju FC defeat Oskey International FC 3–1 in a thrilling showdown.
The team’s captain, Adedoye Samuel Ayobami, was named Most Valuable Player, while goalkeeper Chijindu Miracle Anaikwe earned the Best Goalkeeper award—both walking away with ₦1.5 million each.
With this outstanding performance and strong leadership from the top, Emiloju FC has not only claimed a trophy but also set a new standard for youth football excellence in Nigeria.
