In an exciting move for her burgeoning career, former Falconet striker Taiwo Lawal has signed a two-year contract with Atasehir Belediyespor, a prominent team in the Turkish Women’s League.

Her goal-scoring prowess was evident when she clinched the Golden Boot Award at the 2022 Betsy Obaseki Women’s Cup, where she netted an impressive six goals during the competition.
Notably, Lawal was named the Most Valuable Player at the Flying Officer’s Cup preseason tournament in Abuja in 2022.
During the tournament, she contributed three goals and three assists, playing a crucial role in her team’s victorious campaign.
Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere, is highly optimistic about Lawal’s prospects in Turkey and has offered his unwavering support for her new adventure.
