Emelem United FC Umunede leap frogged Unity Stars FC to the top of the Ika Grassroots Football League Table after a 2-0 Win over Rainbow FC at the University of Delta Agbor ground.
Emelem remain unbeaten with 23 points from 9 games winning 7 and draw 2.
Unity Stars FC 1-0 Win over visiting KG Sports Academy took them to the top of the table with 21 points momentarily before the Emelem Win over Rainbow.
Akumazi United remains the only team yet to earn a point after losing their last game away to ika lions FC on Friday 3-0.
The Win saw Ika Lions move to 7th place on the table.
The second round will kick off on Sunday October 10 with Unity Stars hosting Green Rangers while Akumazi United will return to Gbenoba to face Winners FC.
On Monday, underperforming KG Sports Academy will host Divine Academy at the Gbenoba Ground. When both sides met in the first round it ended 1-1 apiece and so both will be looking for the Win to improve their league Standing.
Table Toppers Emelem FC will host Ika Lions their Ogbe Model Pry School Ground.
Green Rangers will host Rainbow FC on Tuesday at Gbenoba Grammar School.
