The coach emphasized the team’s realization of the significance of regaining the top spot and the importance of securing three points.

He explained, “In the second hour, we realized how important it is for us to be back on top of the table. We made one or two substitutions to bring more attack. The best way to defend sometimes is to attack, which we tried to do, and we were rewarded with our second goal. We are happy to be back on top of the table.”
Looking ahead to their next challenge against Kano Pillars FC, Ogunmodede acknowledged the tough nature of playing at Kano Pillars’ ground, citing the vibrant and passionate crowd.
Despite the challenges, he expressed the team’s readiness to embrace the pressure and turn it into a positive force. Ogunmodede concluded, “We love this pressure. We love it, and for sure, we’re going to embrace it and get the positive out of it.”
Remo Stars now look forward to maintaining their momentum as they prepare for a challenging clash against Kano Pillars FC in their upcoming fixture.
