Elizabeth Nuhu, Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2020 winner in Abuja yesterday again emerged winner in the female category of the second edition of 20 kilometres Tito Yoghurt Makurdi marathon. Nuhu completed the race in 1hr-46mins to beat,
Jimiu Aminu and Lovina Audu, both from Nasarawa State for second and third positions respectively.
While overall winner, Adamu Shuaibu from Plateau State, won the men’s category of the race in 1hr 27mins, carting away the star prize of N100,000 and a carton of Tito Yoghurt.
The Chairman of the organising company, Chief Isaac Akinkumi, said that he decided to institute the sporting event in order to promote distance race in the state and make youths to take advantage of the natural landscape of Benue.
