Dele Alampasu Football Academy star, Elisha Matthew is a young man on a mission as he nurtures aspirations of becoming a professional footballer alongside becoming a chartered accountant, a journey he understood to be so demanding.

The right-back who has been with Dele Alampasu Football Academy gave a detailed insight as to his life goals and aspirations, parental support which is absent as he vows to pursue his dreams regardless of the obstacles.
“I want to become a footballer in the future and I know it takes a lot it’s been a rough journey for me especially in terms of training because I have a job I’m doing, I just come here to train when I’m free,” he explained to Sports247.ng.
“My parents are not in support of what I have chosen but I still try my best to come and that has been the whole set-up for me”, he added.
“I want to be a chartered accountant, a businessman and I’m currently in secondary school but I’m ready to keep working hard to pursue my dreams,” Matthew vowed.
“I save up my pocket money and use some of it for my kits and my friends have been so helpful too in terms of what I need to train”.
“The structure in the academy is good for us to grow, it’s a good platform and the coaches are really working hard to get us in top shape alongside the owner who always looks out for us,” he commented.
