All roads will lead to the Hilario Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island, Friday, April 9, 2021, as legends in the music, comedy, movie, and football community, trade tackles in the epochal Elegushi Peace Cup football tournament.
The Elegushi Peace Cup tagged 11:45 edition packaged by Abaj Multilinks Limited is a twin event to celebrate His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 45th birthday as well as his 11th coronation anniversary.
The event is also promoting harmony and peaceful co-existence amongst the people, particularly, at these times of the country’s life. It is in line with the desires for everlasting peace that legendary Nigerians have joined the peace train.
Four teams named Team Soccer, Team Comedy, Team Music, and Team Nollywood are expected to participate in the one-day tournament. Some of the legendary Nigerians expected to thrill fans include of ex-Nigeria internationals Kanu Nwankwo, Mutiu Adepoju, Ike Shorunmu, Victor Ikpeba, Garba Lawal, Jonathan Akpobore, Tijani Babangida, and Andrew Uwe.
Others in the music, comedy, and movie industry are AY, Akpororo, Sexy Steel, Ijebu, Zlatan, Ik Ogbonna, Flavour, Ninalowo, Reminisce, and many others.
