In order to allow clubs to celebrate their Eid-Kabir festival, chairman Ikeja Divisional Football Association IDFA,Rafiu Alagbe, has postponed Ikeja DFA super league matches scheduled for weekend.
Alagbe in chat with sports 247.ng said all the matches for weekend have been moved to next week to allow the club owners, coaches, players and fans to celebrate their sallah festival with their families.
“We need to observe the sallah festival because many of our club owners, coaches, players and fans want to celebrate the festival with their families.We thank God that this year’s sallah meet us in good health.I wish my Muslim faithful happy sallah celebration and they should celebrate the sallah in love and unity,”said Alagbe who commended the participants for their commitment to the league.
Among the matches postponed are Reality vs Flexy soccer academy,, Alimcity vs Atlas FC, Olusosun United vs Greater Tomorrow and Fut pro vs Recovery House.
Meanwhile the league would resume on 12 July across the centres.
