El-Kanemi Warriors FC players demonstrated their commitment to community service with heartfelt visits to the Specialist Hospital Maiduguri and the Fatima Ali Sheriff Orphanage Home.
Following their training session ahead of their week 17 encounter in the Nigeria Premier League against Abia Warriors on Sunday, the Maiduguri Warriors sought to uplift the less privileged and orphaned children by providing support and spreading joy.
This is a monthly initiative to foster care, kindness and connect with their needy community beyond the football pitch.
The initiative is inspired by the leadership of Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum and Commissioner of Youth, Sports and Poverty Alleviation Hon. Comrade Saina Buba.
The act by the team emphasized the small acts of kindness hold profound meaning as beneficiaries expressed gratitude, urging more organizations to follow suit.
Meanwhile, the management is calling on the fans to come out in their numbers to support the Desert Warriors to victory as they are out for the maximum three points against Abia Warriors this Sunday.
