Head Coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Jaiyeola Damilare has advised his opponents, Royaltoms Queens to forget the final ticket when both teams clash at 10 AM in the semi-final of the Ekofootball Queens Championship.
The first semi-final would be played between Oasis Ladies and Papa Queens at 8 am at Agege Stadium, Lagos.
Damilare while addressing the Journalists yesterday boasted that he has what it takes to reach the final stage saying that their match against Royaltoms Queens is a do-or-die affair.
He explained that when the tournament kicked off some weeks ago, nobody gave his team a chance to reach this stage and urged his players to go for goals against their opponents.
“We are one of the weakest teams when the tournament kicked off some weeks ago but today we are giant killers. Let me say that I am going to win Royaltoms Queens not because we are in the semi-final stage but because the players are well motivated and ready to give their best,” he said.
Damilare admitted that their opponents are equally a good side for reaching the semi-final stage but noted that his girls are physically and mentally balance to approach the game with all seriousness. The dark-skinned coach said failure to win the match would be a huge disappointment to him, the coaching crew, and fans.
“We are not going to underrate our opponents because we need to play the game like a cup final. Going into this match has a lot for me and the club. We are focused and ready for the game. I pray should crown our effort to get a good result at the end of the day,” he prayed.
