Most valuable player of the just concluded Eko Football Queens Championship tournament, Mafisere Kafayat of Royaltom Queens has acknowledged her award to her teammates’ effort who jointly made her who she is after the successful outing despite missing out on the title to Oasis Queens after a penalty shoot-out following 1-1 of full-time whistle, Sports247 understands.
“I am so glad, I’ll also give this back to God who is the giver of life and every good thing. It is not easy training for a whole year every now and then, it’s really worth it at the end,” Kafayat stated in an interview session at the Agege Soccer Temple.
“I’m not disappointed with how everything ended, it’s isn’t just ours this time, we move on proudly.”
“My target is to really make it to the top to where God has destined me to be, to play abroad and also represent the country which is the dream of every young footballer.”
