Ekiti United Patron Bayo Ajayi Donates N500,000 to Support Team’s Development

As the 2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) season approaches, Ekiti United FC has received a financial boost from its patron, Bayo Ajayi, who donated N500,000 to enhance player welfare and club development.

Bayo Ajayi announced the donation during a familiarization meeting with the team, coaching staff, and officials at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti. He emphasized that his contribution aligns with Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s vision for sports growth in the state.

Recognizing Oyebanji as a passionate advocate for sports, Ajayi expressed his commitment to supporting the team and ensuring its progress.

He also praised Olusola Osetoba, the Governor’s Technical Advisor on Sports Development, for her remarkable efforts in advancing sports in Ekiti.

In response, Ekiti United captain Adewale Makanjuola appreciated Ajayi’s generosity and vowed to reward the support with the club’s promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL). Club Secretary Samuel Idowu also lauded Ajayi’s selflessness, assuring that player welfare remains a priority for management
