The Ekiti State Football Association has announced that the state league and the FA Cup will be played simultaneously for this year.
A statement made available by the media department of the Ekiti FA revealed that the bet9ja Ekiti football league and the Bafem Ekiti FA Cup registration will begin on Monday 17th, May.
“We do not have the luxury of time, the state league will last for like two months or more while the FA Cup will be played for a month so we need to start the process now”
It further revealed that the ongoing Professor Akin Oyebode U-15 Football competition final will hold tentatively on the weekend of May 21st – 23rd barring any change from the title sponsor.
You recall the bet9ja Ekiti FA Cup started in 2019 with the Pandemic halting the 2020 edition and also the FA Cup.
