Ekiti Para Athletics Committee Advocates For PWD Welfare, Announces Statewide Competition

Athletes and the overall welfare of persons with disabilities (PWDs) have been prioritized to further support the commendable efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in advancing sports development in Ekiti State.

“Let us focus on the welfare of our members and always address their needs. This is our opportunity to create a significant impact for Para Athletics in Ekiti State,” the committee stated.

The upcoming competition will take place across all 16 local government areas of Ekiti, with the commencement date to be announced soon.

The newly inaugurated committee includes Toyin Ojo as Vice Chairman, Ojo Peter as Athlete Coach, Oluwafemi Blessing as Secretary General, Blessing Akinyemi as Media Director, Rotawo Olusegun as Athlete Representative, and members Patrick Oyeniyi, Yaquob Popoola, and Olaota Adediji.
