The innovative drive of Ekiti State Football Association to create a sweet mix of education and football in line with its avowed mission to build a thriving and sustainable football ecosystem has continued to receive encouraging patronage and support.
A press release signed by Ekiti FA boss, Bayo Olanlege, revealed that eleven cadet players
who were outstanding in recent football competitions organized by EKSFA and were also in line to receive honors at the maiden EKSFA Merit Awards, slated to receive major educational and careers supports, hinged on the EKSFA Scholarship Scheme.
The EKSFA Scholarship Scheme would receive the support of The Patron of the Ekiti State FA Cadet Teams and Commissioner’s for Finance and Economic Development in Ekiti State, Honorable Akintunde Oyebode, who activated the scheme as he provides the education scholarship for Ebenezer Olatuyi from Ikole Ekiti.
Bet9ja Super Agent, Mr. Kayode Noah would be responsible for the Ado U15 winning captain, Peter Abiodun. Bet9j and Agent, Mr. Shadrack Koroh Happy day, would bankroll the scholarship of the gold-winning captain, Fayoke Akinola, who led the Golden FC team to win the maiden edition of Prof. Akin Oyebode U15 football competition held earlier in the year.
Barrister Tunji Brown had earlier set the pace through his company, Owu Sportswear Limited by signing an MoU with the Ekiti State Football Association to provide football kits for the starlet, Marvelous Jegede of the Ekiti FA Queen Bees for the next three years.
Another Queen Bee and top scorer in the female category of Professor Oyebode U15 football competition, Pascaline Adelabu is set to be a beneficiary of an educational scholarship courtesy of Bet9ja Super Agent in Oye/Ikole/Ekiti East Zone, Mr. Morakinyo Faroye. While Ijero Bet9ja Coordinator, Mr. Sunday will do the same for Ekiti Baby Bees’ Taiwo Adebisi who was scouted at the Late Oba Ademola Ajakaiye U13 football competition held on March 2021.
Furthermore, the Tade Gboyega Foundation and TZAR Foundation are committed to educational support funds for enterprising U13 players, Basit Salahudeen from Oye Ekiti and Toheeb Olasunkanmi from Ado Ekiti respectively.
