As the countdown towards the maiden edition of the Ekiti state football association merit Awards continues to gather momentum.
The voting process has seen some nominees getting the desired support from voters on the voting platform which has seen them jump into an early lead in different award categories.
In the Mrs. Olapeju Babafemi Most Valuable U-15 Player (Girls category) fans’ favorite Marvelous Jegede is in the early lead with over three hundred votes which are over two times higher than she closes challenger in the category.
Honorable Akintunde Oyebode is head and shoulders above other nominees in the O’seun Odewale’s awards for the Ekiti state local council Patron of the year.
While former Ekiti united captain, Bello Babatunde is in the massive lead after just two days of voting in the Amaju Pinnick Awards for the Ekiti state Footballer of the year (National / Foreign based)
Recall that the Ekiti FA Merit Awards Committee announced the opening of the voting portal on Monday on www. voters.ekitifootball.org which has seen a massive influx of votes in different categories.
The Ekiti FA Merit Awards is scheduled for the 31st of October in Ado Ekiti.
