The entire members of Kwara State Igbo Traders Association have overwhelmingly elected the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidke, J. P as the Chairman, Board of Trustees.
The election which reflected the popularity of the philanthropist was greeted with jubilation and enthusiasm.
The Igbos in Kwara State believe that with the caliber of Chief Donatus Agu Ejidke, the association will experience rapid transformation and support from well-to-do Nigerians.
In a statement by Ejidke, he appreciated the the entire Igbo community for reposing the confidence in him as he assured them of contributing his quota for the development of his kinsmen.
Ejidke appealed for unalloyed cooperation as he can’t do it all alone but everyone’s contributions would make the desired difference.
“Igbos should remain as one big family. We should contrbute to the communities where we live. There should be no reason for involving in any act that may smear our good images. We are known to be industrious as such let it be that ”
With the election as the Chairman, Igbo Traders Association , Chief Ejidke is now one of the top decision makers amongst the Igbo community in Kwara State.
