Nigerian Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, has sent a message of love and perseverance to Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.
He urged them to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, including purity, love, and charity.
Ejidike described Eid-ul-Fitr as a festive event observed by Muslims worldwide, culminating the sacred month of fasting, prayer, and contemplation. He reminded Muslims to reflect the characteristics of Ramadan in their daily lives, emphasizing that Nigeria would benefit from exhibiting these values.
The sports philanthropist also saluted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 73rd birthday, wishing him sound health, wisdom, and courage to lead the country.
Ejidike prayed for Allah’s divine blessings to fill homes and hearts with joy and success, strengthening faith and answering prayers.
Furthermore, Ejidike expressed concerns about Nigeria’s socio-economic situation, urging leaders to implement policies that would alleviate the economic hardships. He encouraged citizens to pray for their leaders, seeking wisdom and spiritual guidance.
