Waheed Salaudeen, CEO of one of the foremost leading sports academy in Nigeria, Buruj Football Academy is optimistic that this period of EID-EL-KABIR celebration will propel a strong bond in relationship with ourselves and everyone around us to make a world a better place to live in.

He allayed that it’s not just about rejoicing, he stated that this is a time of sober reflection in our day to day activities and embracing the holiness and sanity portrayed by the sacrificial life of the holy prophet, Ibrahim who is a model to all Muslims.

Pioneer of the Ikorodu based academy, a team that participates in the third tier league of Nigeria football, National League One (NLO), the team made history in the just concluded 2022/2023 campaign as they paraded the youngest player to ever feature in the competition in 13 year old Raheem Salaudeen, making his debut in an unforgettable moment in the club’s history.

Waheed admonished all Nigerians to judiciously utilize the occasion of Eid-El Kabir Sallah to continue praying for peace and promoting development in the state and Nigeria as a whole as the country is all us all to make it a place everyone can live in unity and love.

“We should embrace ourselves as we are, work for the betterment of the country and eschew all form of evil and vices that threatens the progress of the community and our country. We each have a role to play in the sustainability of societal values for the upcoming generation,” Waheed stated.

“Let’s rejoice, celebrate with as many people as we are even extend love to those of different faiths and beliefs, embracing our diversity is key to building a long-lasting relationship,” he emphasized.
