After series of tests, 19-yr Old striker, Olamilekan finally made the move for a better tomorrow, moving from Imo-based side Brighter Tomorrow FC to the Alexandria-based club.
The striker was a notable member of the Nigerian FIFA U17 WC winning squad to Chile and he already made his debut for the Egyptian side in a 2-2 draw against Mansura at the Ezzedin Yacoub stadium in Alexandria.
The coach of the Brighter Tomorrow, Emeka Darlington, under whose tutelage Olamilekan played and made the switch, has dropped a lot of positive words for the strikers signing while speaking to the media.
“I’m happy that Olamilekan has now signed for Oly after a very rigorous test and I’m hoping he will do well,” the coach said. He also revealed that the player’s deal with the Egyptian club is for three seasons and he’s confident the lad is in great hands with Coach El Kass at El-Olympi.
