CEO of Edo Queens Football Club Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere, who led a team of delegation to Kogi State for the just concluded burial ceremony of the late Edo Queens Head coach Gabriel Ujahta Adejor, has commended
the Edo State government for the support given to the team during the burial ceremony.
According to her: “We thank God Almighty for a successful journey, and for the grace and Mercies upon us all. It is painful that we loss our brother and coach to the cold hands of death, we can’t question God, he is the one that gives and take, all what we own the family that he left behind is nothing but prayers.”
“I also want to use this medium on behalf of the entire delegation thank the State government for the unflinching support. You will agree with me that Edo State government is totally committed to building human capacity. You see the crowd that came from Edo State to Kogi to give late coach Gabriel Ujahta Adejor a sound befitting burial ceremony.
So what this means is that whatever you find yourself doing, ensure that you do it well”
She charged the players and officials of both Bendel Insurance and Edo Queens to give their all to their teams, adding that the State government would not entertain failure at the forthcoming 2020/2021 League Season.
