Ahead of the matchday 3 of the 2021/2022 NWFL Premiership season against Confluence Queens, Edo Queens Football Club have landed in Lokoja, the capital city of the Kogi State.
The Godwin Obaseki girls who sit second in group A with four points will look to take their rightful place from Confluence Queens who sits atop of the group with six points from two matches as they take to the field against their host on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium, Kogi State.
Meanwhile the general coordinator of sports in the office of the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere, has charged the girls to do themselves proud by going for victory in their second away match of the season.
“Our faith remains strong in you, go out there and do yourselves proud, then do us proud in return”
“Like I have always said, it won’t be business as usual, you know why you are in Edo Queens and we need to be focused, up our games and change our orientation towards the game.”
