The Edo state Football Association on Thursday held am emergency board meeting to chart a path towards its elections slated for February 25th 2019.
According to the communiqué, the electoral and appeal committees for the conduct of election into the board were set up.
Members of the electoral committee are Prince Femi Duze (Chairman), chief felix Osula, Patrick owolabi, Harrison Iyomana and Mrs Margaret Ojo as members, while Elder Emmanuel Ajibola will serve as secretary.
In the appeal committee, Mr Victor Edokpayi will serve as chairman, while Salihu Ibrahim and Bayo Omo-Ige are members, and Elder Emmanuel Ajibola will serve as secretary.
The committees, will be inaugurated on Friday by 10am at the board room of Edo state football Association.
Chairman of Edo State Football Association, Hon Frank ilaboya, said that the members of the committees were selected based on their pedigree and integrity.
The out going board however praised the Nigeria football federation for its various developmental strides and support for football in Edo State, and congratulated Edo State Governor Mr Godwin Obaseki, his deputy Rt. Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu for the success recorded by Bendel insurance, just as the board members were not left out for their commitment and dedication.
