Ahead of the September 30th 2022 Elective congress of the Nigeria Football Federation in Benin city Edo state, the chairman of Edo state Football Association, Comrade Roland Abu has formally declared his intention to contest for a seat into the Executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, the NFF.
During his declaration on Monday in Benin city, the current Edo state Football Association boss said he is ready to contest for a place into the board of the NFF, come September 30th, with the aim of contributing his quota to the development of Football administration in the country, adding that his is very qualified to be part of the new NFF Board.
The former vice chairman of Edo state Football Association, said he has the backing and full support to go into the contest
” I have decided to context for a seat in to the board of the new look NFF come September 30th in Benin city”
” I want to contribute to the development of Football administration in the country, as the current Edo FA chairman, I have what it takes to be part of the new look executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, am qualified to context and have the support to do so, Abu stated.
Comrade Abu stated that he has the backing of his board members, key stakeholders and many others, going into the contest
” I have consulted widely, meet with key stakeholders nationwide, my board members, and those who matters in my home state, my zone, and many others before taking this step, and I got the right advice and support”
The declaration of Comrade Roland Abu on Monday this week in Benin city, has further increase the number of Nigerians seeking elective positions in to the executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation.
Barring any changes, the elective congress of the Nigeria Football Federation, is slated for Benin city, the Edo state capital on the 30th of September 2022.
