Chief Coach of Team Ekiti male football team, Kehinde Anjorin has expressed confidence that his team would have good outing in the forthcoming National Sports Festival scheduled for Edo next month.
Anjroin declared this after his team defeated Ajaye United 3-2 recently in Ado- Ekiti.Anjorin said he used the friendly match to assess his players but noted that he is satisfied with the progress of the team in all friendlies played so far ahead.
“There is tremendous improvement in Team Ekiti now. We have engaged in series of friendly matches and the players are doing well now. I am very optimistic that we can go far in festival irrespective of the states that pair with us,” he said.
Team Ekiti yesterday played 0-0 with Olukismet FC. The Team Ekiti would also play EKSU Galacticus on Tuesday at Ekiti State University pitch in their preparation for the festival.
Commenting on the team;s chances in male football event in festival, Anjorin noted that Team Ekiti would surprise big states saying that any state that underrates them at their own peril.
