Hosts Lagos picked 16 tickets out of 19 team sports ticket available at the just concluded South West Zonal Elimination ahead Edo 2020 National Sports Festival,
The Zonal Elimination, which Lagos State hosted at different venues across the metropolis, was competed by all the six states in the western region.
The Venues used for the events, Agege Stadium for Football, Teslim Balogun Stadium hosted Basketball and Volleyball, the Cricket Oval, Tafawa Balewa Square – Cricket, Handball and Abula held at the Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba,. Beach Volleyball and Rugby took place at the Ram Field and Main bowl, National Stadium, respectively; while Hockey happened at the Elegbata Mini Stadium.
In the overall result table, Lagos state came first followed by Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti and Osun states.
