Head Coach Team Lagos, Adesina Yusuf has lavished praise on his energetic boys display in their first outing in the national sports festival at Edo as they brushed past Delta State in a thrilling five-star display.
Team Delta took the lead as Felix Odibo scored from the spot in the 13th minute but Akinwunmi Hassan restored parity in the 34th minute before the Lagos-based side claims all 3 points with two goals from Godwin Odibo and Isa Saheed in the 59th and 67th minute respectively, Sports247 gathered.
Reacting after the game, Adesina lauded the boys’ performance, “the boys did very well today and gave a good account of themselves, our target in Edo is to win gold especially for the fans who have been very supportive all along and we will surely deliver.”
“Tomorrow we will play against Imo State which is a fight for supremacy, we would top the table and have a favorable result hopefully.”
