Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are finally set to go head-to-head next year, Eddie Hearn reveals with the financial elements of a two-fight deal been agreed with contracts to be signed next year, which is going to be the first fight in the summer of 2021.
Both parties have confirmed the ‘financial agreement’ for TWO world-title fights with Saudi Arabia the early favourite to host the biggest showdown in British boxing history following discussions over a mouthwatering Battle of Britain, which would see all four major world heavyweight titles on the line.
”We’re making great progress,’ Joshua’s promoter Hearn told Sky Sports News. There is still a lot to overcome. We are looking at venues and dates.”
”We have the Dillian Whyte mandatory which is due before this fight. It’s fair to say [Joshua and Fury] are in agreement regarding the financial terms of the fight.”
