Defender Ebube Duru is motivated by the prospect of helping Lobi Stars retain the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.
The Pride of Benue defeated Enugu Rangers 1-0 in the Charity Cup on Tuesday night.
For Duru, the major objective of the club is winning the NPFL title again.
“We are defending champions in the NPFL. We want to win the title again. That is a source of motivation,” said the left back to Footballlive.ng.
“This is a possibility for us. We have the team capable of making that happen. We are working towards it.”
“We have the CAF Champions League. It is also a major objective for us and Nigerian football. That is what we work for,” added the one cap Super Eagles defender.
