Man of the match performer and Rivers United left-back, Ebube Duru has expressed happiness in his involvement on their 5-0 win over Libyan opponent, Al Nasr.

After the encounter at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, the venue of the encounter, Ebube expressed his satisfaction as he said “am very happy that we won convincingly in the first leg”.
The five goal result could be a way of expressing the anger of missing out on the Champions League group stage, Ebube went further to say “considering our last game in the continent was not good for us. We were very disappointed.
“We know the country was very mad at us so we talked to ourselves that we have to redeem our image. We came all out and we got the victory.
“I got two goals and an assist to my name. It’s a good one for me and the team and we hope that come next week when we go for the return leg, we will give them a run for their money and qualify for the group stage”.
Ebube Duru netted twice; opening the scoring in the 12th and then in the 64th minutes of the game. Kazie Enyinnaya contributed his quota in the 15th minute, Paul Acquah in the 44th and Malachi Ohawune put the final nail in the coffin in the 74th minute.
