Crown Football Club, Ogbomoso, has felicitated with all Christian faithfuls around the globe on the occasion of Easter Celebration.
In his message , the Acting General manager of the club, Mr Oyekunle Oyeleye, admonished all Christians to reflect on the essence of the season and also abide by all preventive measures identified by the certified bodies in the bid to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease.
“Easter season is not mainly meant for jollification but a period to reflect on the various lessons about the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. May His death bury all the negatives in our lives and His resurrection bring to life and fulfilment all our sweet dreams and lost glories. Amen “.
“Coronavirus is real so we must be very cautious in all we do. Social distancing, regular hand washing, use of hand sanitizers amongst other measures prescribed by the National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) should be seriously adhered to”, he said.
The former administrative secretary of the club,
while praying for a hitch free festive season and for God to put an end to the Coronavirus pandemic,used the medium to appreciate government at all levels, corporate organizations, stakeholders in the round leather game and individuals for their efforts in curtailing the spread of the pandemic that has brought the world economy to a halt.
He concluded by pleading that more proactive measures should be drastically taken and solicited for more private donations in the fight against COVID-19.
