Italy based Super Eagles players, William Troost-Ekong and Ola Aina will return to the field of play soon as the Italian Serie A is set to resume amidst Corona virus worries.
Italian prime minister, Giuseppe Conte on Sunday affirmed that Serie A players can resume individual trainings from May 4 and teams could begin general training from May 18.
The Serie A season had been cut short when the government declared a total lock down to battle Corona virus which affected some notable Serie A players as well.
The Italian Football Federation also announced that it will begin Corona Virus tests on players from start of May to allow safe return of football.
Before the suspension of the league, Juventus were ontop of the table with Ola Aina’s Torino lying in 15th and Ekong’s Udinese in 14th.
