Mainz 05 striker Anthony Ujah has been selected in the Bundesliga Team of the Week after a scintillating display at the Commerzbank-Arena on Matchday 33.
The former Werder Bremen forward was the man of the match on Sunday following an impressive quck-fire brace against Europa League semifinalists, Eintracht Frankfurt.
He scored in the 53rd and 57th minute after a slow first half to give his team victory.
The player, who was selected for Nigeria’s squad at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, has played a total of 21 games for Mainz this season – scoring four goals.
His contributions have also helped Mainz retained their spot in the top flight this season – having picked 40 points from 33 games.
