Organisers of the ongoing Dynasty Scouting League have charged the players who are participating in the league to raise their game so that the football scouts would be able to identify more players at the end of the league season.
The dynasty scouting league kicked off two weeks ago at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode Ogun State.Eigh teams from Southwest are participating in the league organised by Dynasty Sports Limited and endorsed by Ogun State Ministry of Youths and Sports.
Chairman Organising Committee of the Dynasty Sports Limited, Olaolu Onadipe said there is need for the players to show more commitment to the league and noted that some of their foreign scouts who watched the league expected the players to do better in their subsequent league matches.
” We the organisers were able to talk to our football scouts over the weekend and they were impressed with the standard of the participating teams and officiating but one of them told us that there are some players who are potential but they need to show seriousness and commitment in their game,”
“We need to have it in mind that this is more than an ordinary league. The purpose is not just to have a league table but to ensure the players give their best in every game, regardless of the scoreline,”he said.
Onadipe revealed that their foreign scouts are watching all the matches live through live streaming from their base and urged the players to give their best in all their matches.
He however stated that at the end of the league the organisers would select good players that would foward them to their scouts for trials.
“At the end of Week 7, we’ll select the outstanding players that aren’t picked by our scouts and make individual highlights and ensure that those selected players would be assessed by our scouts in Europe and other part of the world,” he said.
The league three would resume at Ijebu-Ode on Thursday as MKA tackle Leal FC, Greatness face Da Faria FC as Utility Sports confront Kakawa FC, while Ladegbuwa FC face Immaculate FC.
