Ahead of the 4th Window of 2023 FIBA World Cup qualification games held in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria’s Men’s national basketball team, D’Tigers are upbeat about their chances to pick a ticket to the global championship.
The team presently camped in Abidjan, held its sixth training session, Wednesday, at the Palais des Sports Treichville, to keep it in top shape ahead of its opening game against host Cote D’Ivoire on Friday.
The team who would prosecute the qualification games without the presence of head coach Mike Brown have vowed to pick a World Cup ticket despite the lack of moral and financial support from the Nigeria Ministry of Sports.
