The eagerly anticipated draw for the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season is set to take place today, Tuesday, August 29, following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) convened by the Board and attended by all 20 clubs.

This significant event marks the inaugural AGM under the leadership of Hon Gbenga Elegbeleye, the newly appointed Chairman of the NPL Board.
Having effectively steered the Interim Management Committee (IMC) and implemented sweeping reforms in the domestic top league, Elegbeleye embarks on his first AGM with a clear vision to transform the league into a commercially attractive entity.
His goal is to augment revenue streams for clubs, enabling them to assemble competitive squads and enhance infrastructure.
