Kano State Deputy Governor, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna was among the hundreds of sympathizers that attended the funeral prayer of the mother of the Kano Pillars FC fans Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Idris Mu’azu Jide, late Hajiya Hauwa Idris who died on Thursday 19th September 2019 at Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital, kano after a brief illness.

Speaking shortly after the prayer, the Deputy Governor described the death of Hajiya Hauwa Idris as great loss to the entire Muslims Ummah, not her family alone.
Dr Nasiru Gawuna prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her jannatil Firdausi and her family to bear the huge loss.
Other dignitaries that attended the funeral prayer include Executive Chairman, Kano state Sports Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, Permanent Secretary, state ministry of sports and youths development, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Sagagi, Chairman Kano Pillars Football Club, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Yahaya, former Chairman Kano Pillars football club, Alhaji Tukur Babangida, Commander General Kano state Hisba Board and hundreds of supporters of the Sai Masu Gida.
Responding, Chairman Kano Pillars Football club fans club, Alhaji Bashir Idris Mu’azu thanked the Deputy Governor and the entire people that attended the funeral prayer and those that had to send him a condolences message.
