With two frontrunners, Emmanuel Amuneke and George Finidi, vying for the position, Dosu Joseph urged the NFF to outline their expectations to facilitate a well-informed decision.
“I think the Federation should align what it would be for them to decide who they want to give the national team to,” stated Dosu Joseph.
“We’ve seen Amuneke handle clubs outside the country and the national team of South Tanzania, and we’ve seen Finidi handle Enyimba, and he has also done well.”
Dosu Joseph stressed the importance of the NFF clearly stating their requirements for the new coach, allowing stakeholders to assess and provide feedback on the candidates.
He acknowledged the successes of both Amuneke and Finidi in their coaching careers, citing their achievements with clubs and national teams.
“A lot of them are also out there that have applied for the job.
Whoever gets the nod, we will surely support and wish that person the very best of luck,” Dosu Joseph concluded, expressing optimism for the future of the Super Eagles under the leadership of the appointed coach.
