A formal notification of international membership and charter confirmation has been presented to officials of Rotary Club of Royal Metro Lagos, based at Oregun area of the metropolis.

The document of charter confirmation and membership of Rotary International was presented by RI 9110 District Governor, Rotarian Ifeyinwa Ejezie (FCS, CRM) at a modest ceremony on Friday.
While making the presentation, Ejezie stated at length: “It gives me great pleasure to announce that Rotary Club of Royal Metro Lagos (District 9112) was admitted to Rotary International on Wednesday, 12th June, 2024.
“May I congratulate the Charter President, Rotarian Olukunle Moses Awogboro, members of the club, the new club adviser, AG Basirat Giwa, who supervised the charter, and Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa that sponsored the charter of the club. The new club has 21 members at charter.
“All Rotarians are enjoined to share fellowship meetings with the new club. Thank you, as we continue to create Hope In The World.”
Ejezie added that the club will this Saturday hold its first meeting after confirmation of its international membership and charter, starting 5:30pm at Paradox Lounge & Bar, Clay Bus Stop, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos.
