Retired Nigeria Super Eagles and current board member of the Delta State Football Association, DFA, Sam Sodje has hailed the Ken Nwaomucha-led board for a modest and successful hosting of the DFA league even without an official sponsor.

The former Leeds United strongman said is not an easy task to run a competition, especially at this period when the economy is tough and talkless about increasing the prize money.
He commended the fatherly initiative of the Delta state FA Chairman, Kenneth Nwaomucha for increasing the prize money from 1.8 million to 2 million naira stretched to the fourth position.
