Kastina United Football Club chairman, Prince Abudulsamad Badamosi has taken time to X-ray one of Kastina United finest player, Destiny Ashadi.
The chairman talked briefly on the possibility of keeping the star in the club for few more years.
In an interview with Sports247 the chairman said that though destiny has been so supportive to him and the club but if offer comes in for him today, he could be allowed to go. Badamosi said. “Destiny Ashadi has been with us for so many years. When I became the club chairman, I know destiny is a very good player in the Nigerian professional football league. And I know so many clubs want him. When I became the club chairman I sat with destiny and asked him to give me his best and support for us to make Kastina United a great team. And destiny accepted the offer.”
The prince further made known how he used his power to influence the increment of destiny’s wages. Despite all these, he is till willing to let destiny go if the right offer comes in for him. “At that time I used my power to increase his salary by adding one hundred and fifty thousand naira to his salary. Now I am willing to let destiny to join any club ones he gets the offer.”
As a big player for Kastina United, his presence may not just be a good omen for the young players as his exit will mean giving younger players the opportunity to have playing time and grow “This will help the younger ones have the opportunity to grow just like other young players who got the opportunity and shine there after.”
Destiny Ashadi is a 25 year old player of Kastina United, the attacking midfielder joins the northern club in January 2017 and since then, he has grow up the ranks from being a top player to being a very indispensable one now.
