Nigeria’s fringe player and striker of English Premier League side Emmanuel Dennis netted his second English Premiership goal to help Watford return to winning ways after having a cruise control over Norwich City 3-1 at Carrow Road.
The Nigerian International broke the deadlock early in the 17th minute to put The Hornets ahead with a beautiful assist from Kiko Femenia. Teemu Pukki restored contention for the home team ten minutes before halftime but that was not enough to avoid defeat.
Senegalese International Ismail Sarr scored a brace in the 63rd and 80th minutes to give Watford a comfortable 3-1 win away win at Carrow Road, making it two wins in their five openings EPL matches for the Hornets who were bouncing back from a three consecutive match defeat.
This is Dennis’s second goal for Watford since joining the English side from the Belgian side, Club Brugge in the summer, after his opening day strike in their 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
The other Nigerian duo of Defender, Williams Troost-Ekong, and midfielder, Ogenekaro Etebo featured for 90 minutes and 10 minutes respectively. Etebo came off the bench in the 80th minute to replace Tom Cleverly.
